Hummus Bowls, Toast and Flatbread Cooking Segment on FOX 5 “Good Day D.C.”

I‘ve been on this hummus kick all summer long as inspired by a personal journey of plant based eating and trying out new nutritional programs that yield the results I want. I’m also all about that hummus life because it’s just versatile and flexible — exactly what I need while trying out new proteins and gluten free options. And because you already know my friends at Sabra indulge my efforts, I get to make all the healthy goodness I can conjure up. Precisely because hummus is so flexible, I wanted to show the peeps on FOX 5 Good Day DC and my fans in D.C. (and you!), some of the ways you can enjoy hummus other than just as a dip. I mean, dips are great, but why not enjoy an entire meal rather than snacking til kingdom come (research shows snacking can cause weight gain — I’m here to tell you it’s true!).

Enjoy Erin and I back in the kitchen in the Loft, this time showing her how to make my winning hummus bowl — this time it’s 100% plant based. As a bonus, I teased her with my lemon twist hummus toast with raspberries and apples. Hummus as dessert? Yessssss, please!
